About Us & How the Referral Works

How it works

1. You send one short form with your ZIP code, what you need, and your test result if you have one.
2. We review it by hand and pass it to one independent radon professional who serves your area and has shown us a current NRPP or NRSB certification and a Virginia DPOR contractor license with the radon mitigation (RMC) specialty.
3. The pro contacts you by email or phone to ask questions, inspect, and give you a written quote.
4. You decide. There's no obligation. Any price, contract, warranty and work are between you and the professional.

If no participating pro covers your address, we'll tell you so and point you to the official NRPP and NRSB directories linked from the Virginia Department of Health radon page.

How we make money

Participating radon professionals may pay us an advertising or referral fee. That never changes what you pay through us (nothing), and it doesn't change your right to get other quotes. We encourage getting more than one estimate, as EPA does.

What we don't do

• We don't test for radon, install systems, or give medical or engineering advice.
• We don't have a Roanoke office, and we don't claim to be a local company.
• We don't publish reviews, ratings or testimonials, and we don't vouch for any pro's work. Please check their credentials yourself on DPOR License Lookup and the NRPP or NRSB directories.
• We don't text you, sell your information, or sign you up for newsletters.
